    Midmorning Nuggles

Is there anything better than when your kid, having trouble getting comfy for nap time, finally decides that the only place where he can fall asleep, the only place soft and safe and sweet enough, is with his arms wrapped tightly around you, nose burrowed in your neck, and one hand resting gently on your face so he can feel your breath in his hand?

    I didn't think so.

Every single nap, every single day, that is how my boy goes to sleep. I'm amazed by how many people think it's a burden for me to drop everything for 15 minutes twice a day to snuggle my son to bed. I'm shocked by how many people chastise me for teaching him to rely on Momma to find comfort before he falls asleep. It's the two times a day when I get to enjoy my little bear to the fullest with no interruptions (of either his making or from the outside world). The only time I'm willing to give it up is when his daddy wants to do it instead.

    You're right. There's nothing better.
